The Advisor's Daily Brief ("we," "our," "the Service") is a news intelligence product for independent financial advisors, built by Advisor's Daily Brief LLC. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

What we collect

When you create an account and use the Service, we collect:

• Account information: your email address, name, and password (managed securely by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your raw password).
• Preferences: the carriers and product types you choose to track ("My Book"), and your briefing voice selection. These are business preferences, not personal or client data — see our Terms for what not to enter.
• Usage data: which pages and features you use, collected via PostHog (our product analytics provider), so we can understand what's working and improve the product.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number — Stripe tokenizes it and shares only a subscription status with us.

How we use it

• To generate and deliver your personalized daily briefing (dashboard, audio, and email)
• To process your subscription and billing
• To understand how the product is used and improve it
• To communicate with you about your account or the Service

Third-party services we use

We rely on the following providers to run the Service. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Stripe — payment processing
• PostHog — product usage analytics
• Loops — delivery of the daily email digest
• Google Gemini / Anthropic Claude — AI-generated summaries and talking points, based on public news and your carrier/product preferences — never your client data
• ElevenLabs — text-to-speech generation for the audio briefing

Cookies and analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used, which sets cookies in your browser. You can decline non-essential analytics cookies via the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or change your choice at any time — see the link in the footer of this site.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us — see Contact below. Some data (e.g. billing records) may be retained longer where required by law.

Your rights

• Access or correct your account information (Account settings, or by contacting us)
• Delete your account and data
• Opt out of the daily email digest (Account settings)
• Opt out of non-essential analytics cookies (cookie banner)

Children's privacy

The Service is intended for licensed financial professionals and is not directed at, or knowingly used by, anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
